I have the UX tools – as part of working with an organisation, I have a full UX process which I can utilise in order to get the maximum improvements for a new or existing digital product. From research through to analysis, interaction design and prototyping.

I’m a team player – although working as a solo product design freelancer, I thrive on working within teams. Collaboration generates great ideas which are particularly important during the interaction design phase.

I’m experienced – I have over 20 years experience in digital product design, I’ve been in the industry since the first websites existed and been part of the extraordinary journey in digital transformation. I never stop learning or boosting my skills.

I have the design skills – If I had to sum up my skills in two words, they would be design and people. I’ve always had an innate skill and passion for design. From a small boy I spent my time drawing and being fascinated by design, from buildings to products and packaging. Later this has flourished into the world of digital design. My latest tool of choice being Figma – and I’d describe myself as an expert user.

Prototyping

I design realistic prototype designs that the team and users love as they give a realistic feel for how the finished product will look and perform.

Product Design

I design products with comprehensive library systems, icons, components and more. All of which means hand-over to the development team is seamless.

Validation

Finally, I help confirm that the work we've done up till now is validated by the behaviour of users with our products.

1. Research

I speak to stakeholders and carry out primary research to get under the lid of the project.

2. Analysis

By using analysis techniques such as affinity diagrams, we can capture the key areas of improvement required for your product.

3. Interaction Design

I design basic interactions to find innovative ways to solve the challenges we have uncovered.

4. Prototyping

This is where we bring the basic wireframes to life, creating high-fidelity working prototypes.

5. Validation

We validate that our solution works with live users through user testing.

6. Delivery

The Figma files and assets are passed onto the development team, ready for deployment.
